Library Access - The Basics

Not On Campus? No Problem!

Library Access Off-Campus

All Columbus State University students, faculty, and staff have most of CSU Libraries at their fingertips. We have an extensive online collection of electronic books, journal articles, and many other resources available completely online.

Off-campus Login

There is no need to register an account with the library. Your MyCSU login information is all you need if you want to use some of the more interactive features of the catalog, interlibrary loan, and to use our subscription-based databases.

Tip: If you find that during your research databases are requiring you to pay or give you an error message, exit out of the page and log in into your MyCSU account. Below is a brief tutorial on troubleshooting the most common connection issue.

  • Log into MyCSU from any CSU webpage.

  • Once logged in, click on Campus Information on the top left side.

  • On the right side, scroll down until you see 'Library.' From there, you can select which library resource you would like to use. From here, you should not receive any more error messages or requests for other passwords. If you continue to have login issues, contact us or the CSU Help Desk.
