This guide is intended to provide access to resources for Hispanic Heritage Month. This guide will present journals, print books, e-books, databases, and online links about Hispanic culture, history, and heritage. These resources will cover several genres such as history, politics, literature, poetry, and biographies. Additionally, this guide will contain tips on searching for works and materials on, about, or by Hispanic peoples.
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually and runs from September 15th to October 15th. This month is designed to celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
This guide contains a variety of resources celebrating Hispanic heritage from historical works to poetry collections and has been created for Hispanic Heritage Month with the intention of spreading awareness on the library's Hispanic collection and resources.
