Copyright Guide: Creative Commons

This guide describes copyright law and how it applies to the use of academic and scholarly work at Columbus State University.

Introduction

Creative Commons is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to expanding the amount of creative works available on the web.  CC has created six different Creative Commons Licenses that any author can use free of charge. These licenses are legally-binding and revise the All Rights Reserved copyright inherently placed on tangible works.
