This lab uses a sample article (Taylor, 2006) to practice identifying and evaluating studies using a factorial design. The article describes factorial survey methods recommended for professional assessment and development of social workers.
This activity provides a sample problem that involves a factorial design. Students get practice completing a source table and understanding main effects and interactions.
A website application that quizzes students on various factorial designs from The College at Brockport SUNY
Learning Objectives:
- Describe and identify an example of a factorial design
- Know the terminology used to describe factorial designs
- Be able to identify whether main effects and an interaction exists
