Overview

Overview of Create a group : Groups have a maximum enrollment of 200 users. If there are more than 200 users in a course, you can create new group categories; there is no limit on the number of group categories in a course.

Overview of Delete a User : When you delete a user from a group, all of their files remain in the system, including discussion posts, Assignments submissions, and Locker files.

Groups

Groups have a maximum enrollment of 200 users. If there are more than 200 users in a course, you can create new group categories; there is no limit on the number of group categories in a course.

  1. "Select the 'Communications' dropdown in the navbar and choose the 'Groups' option."

  1. On the Manage Groups page, from the View Categories drop-down list, select the category you want to add a group to.

  1. From the context menu of the category, click Add Group.

  1. If you do not want to use the default name provided, enter a Group Name.

  1. If you do not want to use the default group code provided, enter a Group Code.
  2. Enter a Description for the group.
  3. Click Save.

  1. : Select the 'Communications' dropdown in the navbar and choose the 'Groups' option. Once on the Manage Groups page, navigate to the View Categories drop-down list and select the category that includes the groups containing the users you intend to delete.

  1. From the context menu of the category, click Enroll Users.

  1. On the Enroll Users page, beside the user's name, clear the check box for each group you want to remove the user from.
  2. Click Save.

Note: When you delete a user from a group, all of their files remain in the system, including discussion posts, Assignments submissions, and Locker files.
