Overview of Release Conditions for Assignments: Release conditions are a valuable feature that enables you to link assignments with various components within the system. For instance, you can set conditions such as requiring users to complete specific tasks, like reviewing lecture notes in the Content section, before allowing them to submit their work for an assignment. Additionally, you can use submission to the assignment as a prerequisite for accessing other related items, creating a structured and tailored learning experience.

1. On the navigation bar, choose the Assessments dropdown and then select the Assignments item.

2. On the Assignments page, from the context menu of the assignment, you want to set release conditions for, select Edit Assignment.

3. Expand Availability Dates & Conditions.

4. From the Add Release Condition drop-down menu, do one of the following:

• Select Create New. Select the Condition Type, select the Condition Details, and select Create.
• Select Add Existing. From the View Conditions for drop-down list, select the tool in which you want to view existing release conditions, select the release condition you want to attach, and select Attach.
• Select Save and Close.
