Apply an HTML template to a new document

Use HTML templates in your course to improve the visual quality of your content and encourage learner engagement.

  1. On the navbar, select Content.

  1. On the Table of Contents page, from the Upload/Create button of the module you want to add a new document with an HTML template attached, select Create a File.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • If you have a defined template directory, from the drop-down list, select Select a Document Template.
    • If you do not have a defined template directory, select Browse for a Template. Locate the template you want to use, then select Add.

  1. Customize your topic according to your needs.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To save and close your topic, select Save and Close.
    • To save your topic for further edits, select Save.
